Inspired by the Athena sanctuary in Delphi, the series
embodies the enduring legacy of Greece’s architectural
heritage. Each piece in this collection embraces an
unfinished, partially deconstructed aesthetic, carrying the
spirit of the final remnants of the ruins.
Represented in a striking cobalt blue, these furnitures offer
a modern reinterpretation that invites the viewer to consider
how the ancient and the contemporary can coexist in
harmonious dialogue. The materiality, specifically the use of
solid wood and the matte finish, lends the works a sense of
permanence and timelessness. These are not ephemeral or
disposable objects, but rather pieces built to withstand the
test of time, much like the stone constructions of the original
sanctuary. The series becomes a living testament to the
resilience of Greece’s architectural heritage.
